Agero Administrative Service Corp. (“Agero”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Agero Employment Candidate Privacy Statement and Terms of Service for SMS Communication (together referred to as the “SMS Privacy Statement”) governs how we treat the personal information that we collect and receive from you in connection with your use of the SMS Service (“SMS Service”), which we make available to you through a third-party service provider. Your use of the SMS Service shall be conclusively deemed acceptance of this SMS Privacy Statement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Application or SMS Service to submit your information. Terms not specifically defined in this SMS Privacy Statement may be defined in the Privacy Policy.
SMS/Text Messaging
By providing your mobile number, you consent to receive automated text messages from Agero for job application status notifications. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. To opt out, reply “STOP” to any message.
We do not share mobile contact information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be shared with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
What Personal Information is Collected about You
Through the use of the SMS Service, Agero will receive the following information from our third party service provider: your mobile phone number when you send a text message to us, the text of messages that you send to other users of the SMS Service, any user or screen name that you select in connection with the SMS Service, as well as any comments or feedback regarding the SMS Service that you send to us.
How Agero uses Personal Information from the SMS Service about You
We use personal information obtained for the provision of the SMS Service to (a) provide you with the SMS Service, (b) process and respond to inquiries, (c) improve the SMS Service, (d) if necessary, contact you with important announcements or messages, (e) conduct research, (f) provide anonymous reporting for internal and external clients and partners, and (g) as permitted via Agero’s Privacy Policy.
Each message that you send through the SMS Service (either to us or to other users of the SMS Service) is stored on cloud-based servers. Agero may utilize servers and services owned by third parties.
How We Use and Disclose Your Personal Information

Security
The information we collect through the SMS Service is stored within our databases on cloud-based servers (we may elect at any time to transfer to servers stored within our facilities), with the use of standard, industry-wide, commercially reasonable security practices designed to help us protect your information. While such security standards are used, please understand that no data transmissions over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure due to the inherent risks of data transmission over the Internet. We cannot guarantee the security of our databases, nor can we guarantee that information you supply won’t be intercepted while being transmitted to us over wireless communication, and any information you transmit to Agero you do at your own risk. You should note that in using the SMS Service, your information will travel through third party infrastructures which are not under our control (such as a third party SMS delivery platform or your carrier network).
Opting in
A mobile user might opt-in by:
- Entering a phone number online, or
- Sending a Mobile Originating (MO) message containing an advertising keyword.
Opting out
Agero’s third-party service provider gives you the ability to opt out of the SMS Service for any reason. You can opt out by texting “STOP” or “QUIT” to the 10-digit long code phone number used to message you. We reserve the right to send you certain communications relating to the SMS Service, such as announcements and administrative messages, without offering you the opportunity to opt-out of receiving them.
Use of the SMS Service by Children
The SMS Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent, or from minors ages 13 to 17 without the consent of the minor, where required by applicable law.
Intended audience
Agero requires that users of this service be limited to US residents only.
Changes to this SMS Privacy Statement
Please note that we will periodically make changes to our SMS Privacy Statement and we reserve the right to change this SMS Privacy Statement at any time. We will alert you that changes have been made by indicating at the top of the SMS Privacy Statement the date it was last updated. It is your responsibility to review this SMS Privacy Statement frequently and remain informed about any changes to it, so we encourage you to visit this page often. This SMS Privacy Statement takes precedence over any previous privacy notices that we have issued related to our SMS Service and your continued use of our SMS Service constitutes your acceptance of any amendments to and the most recent version of this SMS Privacy Statement.

Agero Employment Candidate Terms of Service for SMS Communication
Effective Date: February 1, 2026
- When you opt-in to the SMS Service, we may send you SMS messages to notify you of any updates to your application status and to engage in discussion throughout your application process.
- You can cancel the SMS Service at any time. Just text “STOP” to unsubscribe. After you send the SMS message “STOP” to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to opt-in again, just reply START to the phone number you unsubscribed to and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.
- If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program you can reply with the keyword “HELP” for more assistance.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency may vary. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.
